| It is with heavy hearts that we must announce that after 3 years, Village Bridal will be closing its doors in the coming months. It was a necessary, but very difficult decision for us. Debbie will be moving to the East Coast to be with her husband who was transferred to Philadelphia almost two years ago. What was supposed to be a temporary position has proved to be more permanent than expected. Jennifer is expecting her second child this spring and will be unable to carry on running the store alone. The store will not close immediately. This will be a fairly lengthy process, and will most likely take several months. We currently have customers who are expecting deliveries through March, and we are committed to seeing those orders through to fulfillment. As of November 3, 2011 we are no longer able to offer alterations services, but we are happy to provide a list of recommendations for professional alterations in the area. We are still offering gown preservation services for home delivery only. Beginning December 1, 2011 we will be making the transition from being a full service store taking special orders to being an exclusively “off the rack” bridal store. There may be the possibility of special ordering if our designers have the item in stock, but we will not be able to accommodate future delivery dates. Customers who currently have dresses stored at our location will receive individual information regarding pickup times, alteration recommendations, etc. Our beautiful dresses need homes! We would love to see all of our dresses in stock find a home with someone who loves them. Our entire inventory will be available to purchase at discounts from 20-60% off. This includes all accessories and already reduced items! If you are looking for something special, or know someone who is…please come down and see us. We have loved being a part of the Glendora community, and we feel truly blessed to have had the opportunity to share a special time in the lives of all of our customers.
